JOB TITLE: RN ED Permanent Position Shift/Schedule: FT Day's 3/12- Hour shifts Preferred Skills: Critical care experience, board certification, ED experience, Telemetry competency, BLS, ACLS. RN will cover those holding patients until beds are available. If we are not holding in the ED, this team member will float to the inpatient units. Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. What You'll Do You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families. Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues. You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. You'll use different strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery. Positive social skills to facilitate interactions with a diverse range of parties. Excellent problem-solving capabilities, driving effective critical thinking. Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. A current and valid nursing license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
