The Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner provides outpatient medical services, evaluating and treating patients under the supervision of licensed physicians. Outpatient Primary Care Potential $200k + loaded w/ benefits

Job Overview:

  • Role: APPs (Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants) working under the supervision of licensed physicians.
  • Location: Multiple new practices opening 2024 across North Atlanta.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Earnings: Uncapped earnings $200k+ per year.
  • Workload: See an average of 18-20 patients per day.
  • PTO: 4 weeks of paid time off.

  • On-call Duties: Limited, phone call only, 1 week/year.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide outpatient medical consultation services.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients medical conditions.
  • Conduct follow-ups, order and interpret diagnostic studies.
  • Prescribe medications and make referrals when needed.
  • Answer emergency calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
  • Administer drugs and complete EMR notes and tasks.
  • Perform patient physicals and provide health education.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of patient care and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master s in Nursing.
  • Certification: Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or equivalent for Physician Assistants.
  • Licensure: Current APRN licensure in Georgia (or equivalent for PAs).
  • DEA Registration: Current registration required.
  • Experience: Clinical experience in Family Practice preferred.
