Job Summary: The psychiatrist is given extensive independent judgment in reviewing medical information and providing expert opinions about the diagnosis and treatment of mental health patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Child Psychiatrist treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues in children.
- Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health.
- Diagnose and manage affective, thought, personality, developmental, and anxiety disorders.
- Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychiatric disorders.
- Reviews case histories and verifies diagnosis of psychiatric disorders.
Job Requirements:
- MD or DO and completion of psychiatry residency training program.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible are accepted.
- Must be licensed in the State of TX.
- Spanish is highly desired.
