The Neonatology Nurse Practitioner provides specialized care for newborns in high-risk situations, performing procedures and attending deliveries. This role involves working rotating shifts with no on-call duties, managing a patient load in a collaborative inpatient setting. The position offers competitive compensation, relocation assistance, and additional benefits.

Job details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Schedule: Rotating
  • No Call
  • Shift: 12- and 24-hour roles will see 8-10 patients, do procedures, attend high risk deliveries. At night cover unit with 3-4 NNP, resident, fellow and neonatologist
  • Weekend Requirement: 72 hours of weekend in a 6-week schedule where Friday nights are included and last until 0700 Monday morning
  • Perform procedures and attend high-risk deliveries
  • Night shift covers unit with support from 3-4 NNPs, resident, fellow, and neonatologist
  • Setting: Inpatient
  • EMR: EPIC

Job Requirements:

  • Board Certified
  • Board Eligible
  • Active TX License
  • BLS, NRP
  • Clean Malpractice and license History
  • Covid Vaccinated
