Job Details
• We care for adult Hospice patients requiring an acute care setting for symptom management.
• Roughly 50% of our patients pass away while on the Unit and the other 50% are discharged to home after their symptoms have been successfully managed.
• Our Unit also cares for Hospice patients needing Respite level of care.
• On any given day, there will be a mix of Acute and Respite level of care patients.
• Position / Specialty: RN- Hospice
• Ratios: 1:6
• Years of experience REQ: 1 yr
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: Every other weekend
• Charting: Epic, previous EPIC experience required.

Job Requirements
• 1 year of experience in the specialty or one of comparable or higher acuity is required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support is required.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required for specific RN/Unit positions; AHA or ARC only.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required for specific RN/Unit positions; AHA or ARC only.

Schedule Information
• Weekend REQ: Every other weekend

• RTO Restrictions: 7 days max
