Barbuzzo Restaurant is accepting resumes for Executive Sous Chef for our well known restaurant in Center City, Philadelphia. We are looking for a passionate & creative Chef who can bring their love of Mediterranean cuisine (including house made/extruded pasta, wood fired cooking, Neapolitan style pizza) to Barbuzzo and complement our rustic menu. Candidate will be able to work with our Executive Chef + Culinary Director for training of the existing operation. Our team works very hard in a busy, fast paced, positive environment. We are looking for a Sous chef who can learn and grow with us.
You must be Serv Safe Certified in PA!
Schedule would be two opening shifts as AM Chef (7-4) and three pm shifts, you MUST have open availability!

Ideal candidate will:
* have 3-5 years previous experience as Sous Chef in a similar, fast paced restaurant.
* possess solid leadership of the Barbuzzo restaurant culinary operation in absence of Exec Chef
* have a positive presence throughout the restaurant.
* be able to manage kitchen staff effectively & delegate responsibilities to the team
* communicate job expectations & manage employee performance.
* monitor food cost, labor cost & inventory.
