Position Overview:We are seeking a Storeroom Attendant to join our team. This position involves receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory within the onsite storeroom and occasionally entering the refinery. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of providing excellent customer service while performing storeroom duties safely and efficiently.Location: Toledo, OHSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)Duration: 3-month assignment with potential for temp-to-hire based on site needsOvertime: RarePay Rate : $20/HRKey Responsibilities:Receiving and Stocking: Unload deliveries, inspect items for discrepancies or damage, and store items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.Inventory Management: Perform cycle counting, maintain perpetual inventory records, and request replenishment as needed.Customer Service: Work directly with clients to issue parts and safety items while ensuring a positive customer experience.Respirator Fit Checks: Perform fit checks and other safety-related tasks as required.General Maintenance: Inspect tools and equipment for wear and damage, report defects, and assist with basic servicing tasks.Technician Work (as needed): May include ladder checks, SCBA work, or fire extinguisher checks.Physical Demands: Regularly lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch.Qualifications: Experience: At least 3+ months of relevant experience in a warehouse, storeroom, or inventory management role. Job longevity is preferred.Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including data entry or basic Excel. ERP experience (e.g., SAP) is a plus but not required.Customer Service: Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols in warehouse or industrial settings.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, stand and walk for extended periods, and wear required safety gear, including composite or safety shoes.Work Environment: Onsite position.May be required to enter the refinery periodically to complete tasks.Safety-oriented work environment with protective equipment required.Why Join Us?We value reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail.
