Job Description

A Day in the Life: Provide Security best practices by driving and developing polices, standards, procedures, for the protection of employees and physical assets in accordance with industry standards. Provide leadership and direction for the company's security needs including oversight of the company's Security Operations Center, establishment and execution of an Executive Protection Program, support to internal investigations, and overall subject matter expertise to support the Hertz mission. The salary for this position is $130,000/yr Preferred work locations: Estero, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Oklahoma City What You'll Do: Direct and lead all functions of the Security Operations Center, including the establishment of crisis management policies, procedures, and escalation process. Establish and manage an Executive Protection program; serve as the primary security point of contact for the Executive Suite. Coordinate closely with Human Resources and the Legal and Compliance Departments related to internal investigations. Coordinate with field Corporate Security to mitigate and manage security incidents. Coordinate with business partners to address internal and external security issues; serve as a security subject matter expert, mentor, and leader. Work closely with the Director, Physical Security related to physical security matters. Assist the Senior Director of Global Security regarding both domestic and international security matters; Serve as the acting Senior Director of Global Security, when required. What We're Looking For: 10 years or more of law enforcement, military, or international security experience with an emphasis in physical and personnel security management. Significant experience with Executive Protection strongly desired. Proven leadership and crisis management experience Experience interacting with local, state, and federal law enforcement Understanding of physical and personnel security matters; Expertise in best practices Ability to travel up to 25% when needed. Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations Ability to influence Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems Ability to build and lead a diverse, high-performing, results-oriented, and highly-engaged team. Ability to drive process and organizational change. Ability to motivate teams and keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
