Grant Writer IntePros is seeking a Grant Writer to join our client based out of Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and completing government grant proposals, specifically state grant applications to secure funding as part of the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Development program. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex bureaucratic processes and demonstrate strong project ownership. This role requires a creative and strategic approach to accomplish goals within a fast-paced environment.
Skills Required: - Grant Writing and Government Funding Experience (4-6 years)
- Strong Experience with Excel and Word (required for grant proposals)
- Strong Judgement and Experience in Planning and Accomplishing Goals
Preferred Skills: - Experience with Public Administration or Government-Funded Projects
- Ability to Lead and Direct Work of Others
- Experience in Project Management with Stakeholders
Key Responsibilities: - Review, analyze, and complete government grant proposals with detailed state grant applications.
- Secure funding through the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Development program.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to draft responses, review documents, and gain approvals.
- Provide creative solutions while ensuring that proposals meet complex grant requirements.
- Lead and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring timely completion.
Day-to-Day Activities: - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete grant proposals.
- Draft and submit government grant proposals and applications.
- Review documents, assess requirements, and work within a set timeframe (up to 5 days per application).
- Ensure projects are on track, meeting deadlines, and following internal processes for approvals.
Candidate Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in corporate strategy, business administration, or related areas.
- Experience with government-funded projects or public administration is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic processes and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
This is a contract role with the potential for extension or conversion.
