POSITION SUMMARY
The Foundation Manager oversees the daily operations of the Navajo Hopi Health Foundation (NHHF) and the development of fund-raising efforts. In consultation with the NHHF Director and the NHHF Board of Directors, the Foundation Manager plans, budgets, implements and evaluates activities to raise and distribute donations. This position is eligible for telework with supervisor approval and upon a successful training/trial period. Teleworker must have a reliable and adequate internet connection with a minimum 20Mbps internet speed. Should a minimum internet speed not be met, or the teleworkers internet is unstable, work must be performed onsite. Teleworkers using personal virtual desktop must use VMware Horizon 7 to conduct their work off-site. Teleworkers assigned a TCRHCC laptop must use a VPN to connect to internal resources to conduct their work off-site. Teleworkers are responsible for complying with all applicable TCRHCC policies, including but not limited to the Telework Policy and Procedures, Remote Access, and the Telework Agreement.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelors degree in business-related field (Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration)
Experience:
- A minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management and/or related experience
- Financial literacy in budgeting and financial reports
- Experience in fundraising, marketing, and research and techniques
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial accounting system, Microsoft Office, and ability to use necessary equipment to perform job duties.

Physical:
Require the ability to sit, stand, walk, maintain balance, and reach for extended periods of time, to occasionally stoop, drive, bend, climb, kneel, crouch and twist to pick up small objects. Must be able to continually lift/push/pull up to 24 pounds and occasionally over 100 pounds. Sensory requirements are far vision, near vision, color vision, depth perception, seeing fine details, hearing normal speech, hearing overhead pages and telephone use. The duties require the ability to use telecommunications and office equipment. Work also requires ability of simple grasping, firm grasping and fine manipulation with both hands and fingers.
Mental:

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the daily operation of the Foundation.
- Manage, track and monitor all funds received by the Foundation.
- Develop and monitor the Foundations annual budget and financial plans; authorize and approve Foundation expenditures; manage the external financial audit process.
- Responsible for implementation of fund-raising events that support TCRHCCs mission, plans, budgets, and implements activities. Works closely with the Foundation Director and Foundation Board of Directors.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the strategic planning and related performance measurements and tracking process for the Foundation.
- Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures and processes in support of Foundation goals and operations. Implements and monitors compliances with approved policies, procedures, and processes.
- Review and approve all communication material before print to adhere to the Foundations desired message and image.
- Collaborate with others in the community to increase and maintain the Foundations visibility. Attend community events to demonstrate the Foundations role within the community.
- Participate in various meetings, committees, taskforces and/or other related groups to communicate information regarding the Foundation and its initiatives.
- Support the Foundation Board operations; develop agendas, meeting minutes, and the logistics for meetings.
- Supervise the Foundation staff and volunteers, hires, trains, monitors staff. Ensure proper coordination of work.
- Ensure proper PPE is always worn while on duty including but not limited to, face mask, gloves, gown, isolation gown, NIOSH-approved N95 filtering facepiece respirator or higher, if available), and eye or face shield.
- Complete all donning and doffing tasks in a safe acceptable method and discard of used PPE accordingly. (see CDC website for most current updates)
- Complete task training for all routine cleaning and decontamination processes for all surfaces contaminated by a communicable disease to ensure a high level of patient, visitor, employee and external customer satisfaction.
