Job Description:
Pay Range: $29hr - $32hr
Responsibilities: - Key responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of latest generation PhenoCycler Fusion and Nanostring CosMx instrument; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization.
- Operate and maintain the PhenoCycler Fusion and auto-staining instruments.
- Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation and QC. Prepare slides for analysis.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
- Perform routine data transferring and assist with data analysis.
- ssist in the development of new assays, methods, and reagents.
Qualifications And Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
- Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
- Ideal candidates will be quick learners and comfortable with new technologies and have excellent hands-on and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Skills for effective and timely communication with colleagues.
- One year of related experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Contingent worker will be primarily in a laboratory environment and will work with hazardous materials, including human tissue and blood samples.
