Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for Corporate Director of Education:
- Responsible for the overall development, implementation, evaluation and management of organizational Education Programs.
- Works to ensure opportunities exist for staff to expand their knowledge; while providing opportunities for clinical staff to complete required CMEs.
- May identify staff deficient in CMEs and coordinates curriculum enrollment and completion.
- Develop standardized educational platforms, including creating videos, to ensure consistent learning practices across sites.
- Uses instructional design processes to develop effective training programs with appropriate delivery methods.
- Serves as point of contact for site administration and staff in relation to continuing education programs.
- Works directly with Clinical leadership to develop, communicate and maintain standardized processes and procedures for Education Program requests.
- Maintain and report accurate logs of completed educational curriculum, past due curriculum and curriculum in process.
- Develop strategies to meet the training and development needs of the organization.
- In conjunction with subject matter experts; develop and oversee the development of course materials for delivery through instructor-led, online, and other training modalities.
- Assess learning effectiveness and adjust training content and delivery as appropriate.
- Monitors annual budget to ensure Clinical Education has the necessary funds to effectively and efficiently carry out the goals and objectives that have been established.
- Collaborates with Senior Management to define desired organizational educational goals and outcomes.
- Make site visits as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for Corporate Director of Education:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Familiar with a variety of adult learning concepts, practices, and procedures
- Experienced with Learning Management Systems, small and large group facilitation, eLearning and classroom led instruction
- Experienced in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and can fluidly pivot to meet company needs
