Job Title: Vice President of MarketingDepartment: MarketingReporting to: Chief Revenue OfficerLocation: Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL; or remoteCompensation: $150,000 - $175,000 annually (commensurate with experience) plus up to 20% annual salary as bonus. Management equity grants for this position will be determined by the President & CEO.Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM ET. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.Overview:In this role, our VP of Marketing will own the development and direction of all aspects of our Marketing function – content, events, digital marketing, communications, and most importantly, marketing automation and demand generation across our portfolio, including key decisions around systems and campaign approaches. This role is a highly cross-functional, strategic role which will require both creative and analytical thinking. Working closely with executive leadership across product marketing, product management, sales, customer success, and services will be essential. Motivated by rapid and sustainable revenue growth, the ideal professional is a hands-on, low ego decision maker who can lead well, make financially conscious decisions, be exceptionally comfortable with analytical reporting and motivate within a highly collaborative team environment.Essential Functions:Lead, mentor, inspire and grow a small team of marketers responsible for demand/growth, events, reporting and measurements, corporate marketing.Drive demand generation strategies that build our lead funnel and convert to closed-won deals, applying customer and data insights to continuously improve conversion.Build relationships with InVita Sales team to help further demand generation and enablement activities in the field.Build brand awareness and shape market perception through integrated campaigns.Develop InVita’s corporate narrative and thought leadership platforms to continuously increase market leadership.Build Monthly Operating Reports for Private Equity company and participate in monthly review calls.Collaborate with and influence senior leaders across InVita’s organization.Taking a portfolio management approach, build out and coordinate a calendar of content, campaigns, and other interventions across channels to deliver predictable lead generation and progression through funnel stages toward close.Build systems and processes that will track and report on key performance metrics and use this data to optimize campaign strategies continually.Manage the annual planning and budgeting process for the Marketing department.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:10+ years' experience in roles of increasing responsibility supporting demand generation, with demonstrated and impactful results in terms of metrics such as lead and opportunity creation, velocity/conversion rates through the demand waterfall, trends by channel, and closed business.Experience in leading cross-functional teams required.Outstanding project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent strategic thinking and ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizations.Fluency in demand generation and digital marketing approaches to test and optimize engagement including the use of Salesforce CRM, and HubSpot.Proven track record of building, developing, and elevating a high-performing team.Bachelor's degree required; MBA desirable.Expertise in enterprise B2B SaaS.Experience in Healthcare Technology marketing preferred but not mandatory.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
