Position: Part-Time Enrollment Specialist (piecework)
Pay: $15.00 per hour + potential bonuses (because we love rewarding hard work!)
Location: Flexible (work from home or in the office - your choice!)

Your Role: As our new Piecework Enrollment Specialist, you'll be the friendly face and helpful guide for volunteers and families looking to get involved with our programs. You'll be conducting interviews, supporting match engagement events, and making sure everything runs smoothly with top-notch customer service.
What You'll Be Doing: - Interviewing volunteers and families who want to join our life-changing mentoring programs
- Assessing the best "fit" between volunteers, kids, and families to ensure a positive match
- Helping volunteers through the enrollment process, including reference checks
- Sending reminders and gathering forms from volunteers and families
- Collaborating with the enrollment team and helping train new team members
- Attending team meetings to stay connected and learn best practices
- Doing all of this with a smile, while working independently and with the team to make a big impact!
Requirements
What We're Looking For: You're a self-starter who's great with people and loves helping others. Whether you're talking to volunteers or families, you'll bring your best communication and problem-solving skills to the table. Here's what we need from you:
Required Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you know how to talk to people!
- Attention to detail - no detail is too small when it comes to enrolling our future mentors and youth
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software) - you're comfortable using technology to get the job done
- Availability to work 5-20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends
- Access to a computer and internet connection (you can even work from home!)
- Ability to pass a federal background check (safety is our top priority)
Nice to Have: - Experience with intakes, interviews, and assessments - or a background in child development or social services
- Comfort with working in a diverse, inclusive environment
- Spanish fluency is a big plus, as is Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, and Turkish
Education & Experience: We're open to different backgrounds, so you can apply if you meet any of these requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field (bonus points for this!)
- OR Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in social work, child development, or a related field
- OR 4+ years of experience in social work, counseling, or similar roles

Salary Description
$15/hour + bonus potential
