The Finance Analyst II is responsible for supporting profitable growth initiatives by providing financial analysis to the Stove Business Unit. Key responsibilities include development of financial tools and analysis to achieve strategic growth initiatives.

What you will do:

• Assist in monthly P&L reviews for the assigned business unit.
• Assist in preparing Expenditure Authorizations (EA’s) for business unit initiatives evaluating overall internal rate of return, net present value, and profitability.
• Assist in the quarterly and annual budgeting process for the business unit.
• Prepare financial models to evaluate business opportunities.
• Manage, organize, and update internal sales process data and third party market data used to support business unit performance and decisions.
• Create dashboards and reporting leveraging internal financial data and third party market data to support growth initiatives.
• Assist in evaluating financial effectiveness of programs and promotions.
• Review monthly general ledger and submit journal entries.
• Perform monthly close tasks and assist with the annual sales compensation process, as needed.
• Understand and utilize business applications (i.e. Tableau, Cognos, OneStream, Salesforce.com).
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 or more years of financial experience including accounting principles and standards and financial reporting & analysis 
• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Strong communication, collaboration, influence and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical aptitude and critical thinking skills with demonstrated results driving critical strategies forward
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage project deadlines and competing priorities effectively
• Ability to interact with a diverse set of leaders and members at various levels within various functional areas within the business   
  
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
