Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Beds: 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit Minimal Experience: - 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience Minimum one prior travel assignment 100 mile radius rule Cardiac experience is REQUIRED Required Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS - TNCC (REQUIRED) - *Travelers without TNCC will be declined* Will need proficiency in CRRT, balloon pump, Impella, and care of the immediate post-op open heart patient (CABG/TAVR) Other common diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma population Skills required: - Epic experience - Comfortability working a 48hr/week contract – this is not negotiable for this unit - Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients. - Impella, IABP and CRRT – required Charting System: - Epic – REQUIRED FOR ED & ICU Alaris Omnicell Scheduling: - Weekend rotation: Every other - Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No - Holiday Expectations: No RTO during holidays - Approval of time off? Up to 7 days – must extend to accommodate a full 13-week contract. No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks in August every year) Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) – acuity dependent Other notes: - Scrub Color: Navy - Free Parking? Yes
