Winston Resources is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Pediatrics for a per diem / prn job in Los Banos, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Infant and Peds (General position details, i.e. “No peds, cardio required” etc) The only special procedures is Cryo-Freeze for warts, we do ear lavages but that is performed by the MA. Many new born a couple days after birth to check for Jaundice, physical and immunizations, referrals out to specialties. START DATE: ASAP CONTRACT LENGTH 12 weeks may be extended COVERAGE • Coverage Type: Pediatric clinics, to see infants to 21 years of age at times. School physicals, knowledge of vaccination schedule. Will have to assist with CBI physicals and VFC program regulations. • Schedule Details: Rotated weekends, 3 days a week 12 hour shifts. Switching between the two different times. Work Details: • Facility Type: Rural Health Clinic • Practice Setting: Outpatient • EMR/Charting Software: EPIC • Avg. Daily Census: the clinic as a whole averages 150-200 patients a day. Regular census for the pediatric providers is 30-35 patients a day. • Beds: 12 room facility pediatrics gets 2-3 rooms a day depending on census • Patient Age Group: 0-21 • Procedures: cry0-freeze • Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: • State License(s): CA • DEA Req’d: • Years of Experience Req’d: ? at least 1-2
