*Position Summary:*
* Obstetric RN. Labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care.
* Will float to med-surg to assist if OB unit is closed.
* EPIC, OBIX, Accudose

*Key Responsibilities: *
* Demonstrates competency in care and management of the obstetrical ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum patient; low risk neonates
* Initiates appropriate referral to hospital and community resources
* Supports department specific protocols related to breast feeding, infant safety, and security
* Meets department on-call requirements
* Demonstrates competency in venous umbilical lines, chest tubes, and amnioinfusion
* Ability to assess neonate at delivery and perform neonatal resuscitation
* Demonstrates knowledge of fetal monitoring. Identifies fetal heart rate patterns and treats appropriately

*Required Qualifications:*
* Must have at least 2 years of experience in L&D
* Certification in BLS, NRP and STABLE
* Compact or WI State RN License
