Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for oversight of day-to-day accounting and grant accounting
Assists in the management of the agency cash flow and prepares regular cash flow projections
Supervises the timely monthly closing process for invoicing and financial reporting and maintains balance sheet schedules
Prepares monthly financial statements and regular program financial reports
Reviews and approves bank reconciliations
Assists in the management of the annual audit and tax preparation

Qualifications:
Strong customer service orientation required
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with multiple non-profit accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (education requirements may be substituted with comparable work experience)
Minimum of 5 years’ related experience
