We are looking for a Copywriter with advertising agency experience. If you can write compelling content that motivates people to act while also providing a memorable experience, this is a position in which you will grow! This role will be responsible for developing creative work in collaboration with designers, art directors, associate creative directors and creative directors. You are also responsible for working closely with account and production team members to ensure that work meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients and that deadlines are met. As a Copywriter, we need you to be fluent in both creating and guiding work for all media, including television, digital, social, out-of-home, radio, CRM and more.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Write, edit and proofread compelling content for digital and print marketing materials, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media posts, blogs, advertisements, and product descriptions.
- Produce well-written content that is SEO friendly and optimized for conversion.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in the messaging across all content channels while maintaining brand voice and tone.
- Partner with members of the art direction and design team to bring your best ideas to life.
- Builds, maintains and inspires a culture of innovation in the creative department.
- Understands clients’ businesses and the categories in which they compete.
- Recognizes the strength of creative concepts and guides their development.
- Continually drives improvements and efficiencies in the creative process.
- Identifies the best-in-class collaborators outside the agency (production and freelance resources as needs arise).
- Contributes to a culture that champions creativity informed by strategy.
- Promotes a spirit of collaboration between agency and clients.
- Understands the strengths and limitations of each social, digital and traditional medium as it relates to brand storytelling.
- Creates and executes multiple versions of brand and retail advertising across television, radio, digital, social and CRM. Assists account and production teams with keeping these efforts organized.
- When applicable, collaborates with clients’ internal creative resources.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the conception and execution of creative content across all media channels.
- A knack for content development and story telling in a compelling and thoughtful manner.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-oriented; managing a high volume of deliverables in collaboration with art and design partners.
- Ability to translate a business need and consumer point of view into a creative solution in the form of copy – headlines, subheads, body copy, calls to action.
