- Manage engineering team and mentor staff. Retention of staff via motivation, developing technical capabilities and career development.
- Understand and establish priorities and distribute work to the Engineering teams and connect resources.
- Drive performance, and empower all staff.
- Work with different business units to innovate new concepts.
- Improve productivity of the Engineering team/s.
- Manage and develop Engineering competencies.
- Analyze and develop company product roadmap. including succession plans.
- Present to C-level all aspects of Engineering.
- Closely work with peers and cross-functional teams to ensure that systems and concepts meet the customer’s fundamental needs in the intended market.
- Assist Marketing and Sales in launching products and systems.
- Stay current with global and regional industry standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ Years Relevant Experience product design and development.
- 5+ Years Management experience in a mid to large sized company.
- Experience creating, modifying and managing engineering development processes.
- Experience implementing a systems engineering structure and platform development into a company.
- Proven ability to negotiate and influence on new concepts and approaches.
- Experience with engineering applications such as Altium, PLM, SAP.
- Familiarity with regulatory codes, standards and test requirements such as UL, FCC, etc.,
- US Citizen.
