Your Role

  • As a Business Development Executive, your main goal is to cultivate a portfolio of clients by:
  • Proactively building relationships with referral partners in the real estate and mortgage sectors.
  • Collaborating with clients to assess their insurance needs, exploring options within our extensive portfolio of carriers, and tailoring solutions to minimize household risks.

Compensation Overview

The Business Development Executive role offers average first-year earnings of $90,000. Our compensation package features a competitive base salary, unlimited variable commissions, and a one-time conditional sign-on bonus. You will also earn renewal commissions year after year, providing a potential for significant long-term income growth.

Requirements for Success

  • Goosehead will cover the one-time costs for all training courses and exam fees required to obtain your insurance license.
  • This position requires passing the licensing exam, receiving a state-issued license, and finishing the Goosehead training program starting on your hire date.
  • No prior experience is necessary, as you will receive comprehensive training in salesforce.com, sales processes, and business development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Must pass state licensing exam after being hired.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
