As an Ecommerce Product Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming digital commerce customer needs into an enhanced experience on the Twist website. This role requires a strong grasp of customer behavior along with a solid understanding of our internal processes to develop impactful product requirements. You will be part of a dynamic digital development team working in an agile sprint environment, focused on integrating new designs and technologies to create a future-ready ecommerce platform for Twist Bioscience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your insights into user types and their buying journeys to create product requirements that enhance the ecommerce experience, catering to both current and future needs.
- Visually represent requirements through user journeys and process flows for clarity and alignment.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to translate requirements into intuitive visual designs (UI).
- Assess the impact of new requirements on existing organizational processes and articulate an implementation plan that benefits both customers and the internal team.
- Act as a champion for product requirements, securing alignment and approval from various stakeholders.
- Manage the Jira backlog for your segment of the ecommerce journey, including creating, prioritizing, and refining user stories.
- Engage effectively with the IT development team to break down complex features into actionable development stories.
- Ensure the product backlog is well-maintained, with at least two sprints of refined stories ready for development.
- Participate in daily scrum activities for the ecommerce development team, providing support and answering any questions related to user stories.
- Work with the PMO to consistently measure, monitor, and report on team deliverables and results to stakeholders.
