Student Health Account Manager
Primary Role:
The Student Health Account Manager works collaboratively with the Producer and Sr. Account Manager/Account Executive managing a book of business. Coordinates and provides day-to-day service for student health clients by maintaining client relationships supporting client retention, maintaining a strong carrier relationship and understanding client needs. Serves as day-to-day contact and provides resolution for client questions and issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages a book of insurance business, while acting with a high degree of independent discretion, autonomy and decision-making
Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carrier representatives, business partners, and HUB colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations
Provides a high level of support to Producer in obtaining, maintaining and expanding business
Works closely with Producer and other HUB personnel on all aspects of client service, marketing and renewal while adhering to HUB Broker Standards
File formation/review of client enrollment file to be uploaded to carrier sites
Assist in design and implantation of sales/marketing tools with Strategic Resource Coordinator
Communicate with clients regarding claims issues/questions regarding insurance (domestic and international)
Assist in creating client presentations
Troubleshoots billing issues
Responsible for overall retention of accounts in assigned book of business
Organizes client meetings when necessary
Prepares reports for management as required.
Attends industry related continuing education training and courses.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience and Education:
At least 3 Years of experience in an Account Manager/Account Administrator role in an Insurance Environment
High School Diploma
Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Life & Health license required or able to obtain with 120 days from hire
