This position is located at the Aurora, CO Office.
The Inventory Control Specialist will be overseeing inbound inventory, maintaining accurate counts, tracking performance metrics, fostering interdepartmental problem-solving, and enforcing inventory management protocols. The role involves maintaining a safe work environment, developing inventory process improvements, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory flow.
Flexpak offers a PTO program to eligible employees, starting after their initial 90 days of service. PTO accrual is based on length of service, with employees earning between 32 and 112 hours annually, depending on tenure. PTO can be used for personal time, illness, or emergencies, and scheduling is subject to supervisory approval. Colorado employees are entitled to a payout for unused, accrued PTO upon termination, as required by state law. Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
•Be a hands-on team player who is willing to jump in at any time to ensure customer satisfaction is met.
•Check inbound inventory daily and ensure proper storage allocation.
•Perform perpetual inventory cycle counts.
•Maintain 98% inventory accuracy.
•Daily tracking of performance KPIs and report to management.
•Ensure inventory is being properly received, rotated, picked, and shipped.
•Conduct daily cycle counts on Bins, picking and receiving, and audit variances.
•Participate in and encourage problem-solving between all departments.
•Ensure the organization's expectations for inventory quality are being met.
•Monitor receiving times, quality, and accuracy. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
•Develop Inventory Process Improvements
•Ensure Inventory Process adherence.
•Ensure Inventory Management Protocol adherence.
•Maintaining an accurate inventory database that includes detailed information on available stock.
•Working closely with sales, purchasing, and other relevant departments to organize the efficient flow of inventory.
Qualifications
•Previous Inventory management experience in a warehouse environment, DDI ERP, and WMS is a plus.
•Knowledge of inventory control concepts and techniques.
•Works efficiently and manages time effectively.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Demands Work Environment:
Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to feel/handle product, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color, and depth vision. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate noise levels.
