Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Regional Sales Lead, where you will be instrumental in driving sales success! This role involves a mix of pre- and post-sales support, prospecting for new customers, and nurturing existing account relationships. With a focus on our innovative products and services, you will play a key role in achieving our sales goals. Expect to travel frequently within the assigned territory, with more than 50% of your time spent on the road, including overnight stays. Candidates must reside within the Bay Area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a network of customer contacts through scheduled sales visits.
- Assess customer needs and effectively present relevant company products.
- Coordinate new product launches and arrange demonstrations to enhance customer understanding.
- Utilize CRM and Outlook to track sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts for your territory.
- Ensure strong communication with internal teams and customers for optimal support.
- Meet or exceed established sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Consult with management for complex situations and attend required training meetings.
Physical Demands
This role requires various physical activities including walking, sitting, and occasional lifting. Strong computer skills are necessary, and you will interact frequently with coworkers, vendors, and customers. The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
This position demands the ability to travel by air and drive to customer locations, thus a valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required, with an M.S. preferred. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or customer support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also necessary.
