What you will do::
Coordinate daily deliveries by effectively scheduling drivers and helpers in the assigned areas
Ensure adherence to and education of Beacons safety policies for staff
Deliver superior service to both internal and external customers
Follow-up promptly with customers to ensure overall satisfaction
Manage Material Transfers between regional branches
Record accurate mileage in RTA for all assigned district vehicles and upkeep GPS Data
Adhere to union contracts, OSHA, and DOT regulations consistently
Keep an accurate delivery logbook, reviewed weekly
Ensure availability of safe and reliable vehicles and forklifts for operations
Serve as a liaison between the warehouse contact at the branch, the sales team and the customers during deliveries
Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to ensure daily compliance, validate issues, identify resolutions, and coordinate resources
What you will bring::
Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently
Strong written and verbal communication, including customer relations
Knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements
Familiarity with local areas for optimized deliveries
Computer proficiency
Required CDL driver experience; dispatching background a plus
Preferred experience in the building products industry
Bi-lingual skills advantageous
