ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
  • Cleans all casino areas, including sweeping, picking up trash, vacuuming carpets and wiping surfaces.
  • Cleans restrooms, including scrubbing toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Deep cleaning of slot machines and stools and wiping surfaces.
  • Able to use and operate vacuum cleaners, floor cleaning equipment, dustpans and brooms.
  • Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur.
  • Cleans any bio hazardous materials when it occurs.
  • Removes trash from the trash container and places into the dumpsters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Previous janitorial experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers and wax preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
  • Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs and pull or push carts up to 200lbs.
