Job Overview The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) is responsible for the overall direction, leadership and oversight of the clinical quality, value-based care, and safety programs throughout AltaMed Health Services. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, and as a member of the senior leadership team, the CQO will have accountability for understanding, coordinating, developing, and measuring performance of internal and external quality and safety requirements for all primary, specialty and acute care and will provide leadership in strengthening a quality culture where everyone is engaged in quality improvement and supports a culture of quality and safety. The CQO will serve in a highly visible leadership role, working collaboratively across the enterprise, and externally with Health Plans, regulatory bodies, and partners to provide a statewide presence for high quality value-based program, and will be national leader in clinical quality and safety. The CQO has overall responsibility and oversight of our health delivery system structure and process improvement to achieve high quality outcomes. This position chairs the Quality Committee and presents/updates to the Board Quality Committee on AltaMed's quality, safety, population health performance across all lines of business, as an integrated care delivery system. The CQO will address population health issues in collaboration with the executive and operational leadership with internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements 1. Board certified physician. California License to practice medicine, and DEA License required.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a quality, quantitative, statistical analysis and predictive analysis related field required.
3. Experience with computer-based systems and analytic software strongly preferred.
4. Electronic Medical records experience preferred.
Compensation $313,434.66 - $391,793.33 annually
