Job Description
Position Overview: The Storeroom Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our storeroom or warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies while ensuring accurate inventory records and timely replenishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or shipping documents.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage and report discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Label, tag, and store items in designated locations within the storeroom or warehouse.
  • Maintain inventory records and update inventory management systems as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock levels are low.
  • Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery as required.
  • Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Keep the storeroom or warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to (weight limit)) and operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Duration and Compensation:
  • This is a (full-time/part-time) position.
  • Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, PTO Benefits, Etc.
