Skid Lot Role
Role is responsible for managing skid lot inventory, monitoring flow in/out of the skid lot, performing basic skid repair, completing all required paperwork for supplier deliveries or removal, communicating with Purchasing & Shipping Leadership, and identifying improvement opportunities relating to skid usage and/or supplies cost.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review all paperwork / BOL's for deliveries & removal of skids from Temple North's Skid Lot, serving as the Point of Contact (POC) for skid deliveries & removal
• Sort returned skids to Temple North on backhauls, providing counts to Purchasing and/or Shipping Leadership.
• Complete "simple repairs" and get skids put back into network
• Sort & organize inventory in the skid lot to help assist with FIFO (First In First Out) usage

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Ability to operate industrial equipment (Forklifts, lowboys, etc.)
• Ability to operate tools (saws, drills, banding equipment, etc.)
• Capable of Critical Thinking & working independently
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs safely
• Capable of working safely outdoors or indoors (80% of role expected to be done outside)
• Ability to accurately count inventory items
• Capable of using MS Office (Excel, email, etc.)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate or GED
EXPERIENCE:
One year of work experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight of 50 to 100 pounds.
ENVIRONMENT:
Located outside in the Temple North Skid Lot with frequently exposure to weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.), as well as mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noises, and bright lights.
