+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION

+ Delivery and pick-up at all designated locations and times. Items to be transported include, but are not limited to: mail, supplies (medical and non-medical) pharmaceuticals, laundry, equipment, lab specimens, payroll sheets, and other miscellaneous items as assigned or required.

+ POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

+ Experience:

+ A minimum of three months as a courier/mail handler preferred.

+ Education and Training:

+ High School / GED is required.

+ License, Certification & Registration:

+ DRIVER - Driver's License

+ Other Requirements:

+ Ability to communicate courteously and effectively. Ability to use communication devices such as telephones, pagers, etc.

+ Ability to work independently, and in a team setting. Ability to follow instructions.

+ Ability to perform repetitive duties.

+ Willingness to complete assignments with a high level of quality, and consideration of patients, staff, and physicians.

+ Ability to receive criticism professionally. Willingness to address customer needs.
