Sign On Bonus for New Grads - $5,000Sign on Bonus for Experienced Nurses - up to $20,000Relocation Assistance Available -Proposed Schedule: 7am- 7pm or Nights, 7pm-7am -The Medical Surgical unit, also known as Med-Surg, is a specialty unit that makes up the foundation of nursing. - The Medical Surgical unit at Mercy South is a unit that manages acute medical surgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses and care needs. - Functionally, this unit houses and cares for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. - This can include care of patients with illnesses such as pneumonia and sepsis; as well as pre and post op management of pain, wound care, and monitoring for any complications post procedure. - The Med-Surg unit also manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, and chronic kidney disease. - Service lines include oncology, nephrology, urology, gastroenterology, and many more. -Given the generalized nature of the Med-Surg unit and the amount of variation in patient conditions, the acuity of patients vary. - -Incentives and Benefits

      • Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
      • License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
