Job Summary:A strong, creative, sales-driven leasing person to handle renting, design, and production of marketing material and to host events.Principal Responsibilities:Helping build/maintain census and leasing of units.Scheduling marketing interviews and meeting with hospitals, support groups, family members, etc.Weekly review of marketing program and budget.Coordinating and developing marketing events with the Activity Department.Coordinating intake of new residents.Working with the families of residents and the community at large to promote census.If needed or upon intake, assist residents and instruct them in emergency procedures, review advance directives, and ensure that all information on face sheet is complete and correct.Ensure that marketing events and invitations are communicated through various means to residents, staff, and volunteers.Organize and coordinate marketing outings with the Activity Department.Solicit the involvement of outside clubs, groups, organizations, agencies, churches, and individuals when planning facility marketing activities and events, and promote collaborations as appropriate.Maintain department records, manage budget and supplies.Assist with seasonal decorating design inside and outside of the building.Participate in staff orientation and training by explaining the sales aspects of the building, as well as attend staff meetings.Maintain collegial working relationships with all staff and promote a team-oriented working environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or associate's degree with at least 3 years of sales/leasing experience in a related field (We will accept 2 years of real estate leasing experience).Outstanding interpersonal skills with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.Must have or be able to obtain a driver's license.General knowledge of regulatory requirements for an activity program in an assisted living facility.Skill at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities.Ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and to deal with unfamiliar situations without benefit of written guidelines.Be organized and able to time-manage your day.Effective verbal and written English communication skills.Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.Strong knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Publisher, and Outlook.Be gregarious and not afraid to speak in front of others, as well as call on potential leads.Dress Code:Generally, business and business casual. Exceptions include occasional assignments that require durable 'cleaning/work clothes' or special events requiring formal attire. All apparel must be clean, wrinkle-free, properly hemmed, and in good repair: no holes, tears, stains, or frayed edges.
