Overview

The VP, Digital Investment oversees investment, activation, and portfolio management across all media channels. They provide consistent leadership by bringing new ideas, innovation, and opportunities to the client regularly. The VP, Digital Investment develops go to market investment strategy, recommendation, and POV's while providing effective leadership of negotiations and creating strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Own client relationship and education relating to media investment across all channels

  • Provide counsel on marketplace trends and investment expertise for clients and client teams. Be a thought leader in alternative buying models and integrated projects.

  • Create executive level communications (ie tactical plans, quarterly business reviews, vendor recommendations, etc) that seamlessly connect business objectives, strategic direction, and investment approach

  • Maintain, develop and grow relationships with appropriate client level contacts

  • Inject ideas, innovation and leading industry developments into every assignment, including day-to-day client communications

  • Consistently drive the use of analytics to inform/validate investment strategies, tactical planning and on-going optimizations across all media

  • Lead the billing implementation process: direct investment teams to minimize errors, collaborate with operations to ensure accurate monthly billing, and verify that actualization data aligns with billing report

  • Collaborate with all partner agencies on your LOB, but also internally across all LOBs

  • Strategically develop campaigns across the funnel to align with clients strategic goals and KPIs

  • Manage negotiation and implementation of added value inventory, research partnerships, and custom sponsorship elements when applicable

  • Strong and proven ability to trouble-shoot and quickly problem solve campaign management issues as they arise, as well as effectively partner with strategy directors to appropriately communicate issues with clients


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of digital media buying experience, with progressive levels of responsibility, across all platforms: display, search, mobile, programmatic, and paid social

  • Previous team management experience

  • Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value without compromising communication needs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities.

  • Strategic thinking, ability to see the bigger picture

  • Problem-solver with strong project management experience

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation Range: $146,490 - $210,420 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
