About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a focus on merchant acquisition to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and roadmap in line with business objectives, leading the development of innovative payment processing solutions, and ensuring the company's technology initiatives are at the forefront of industry advancements. This role requires a deep knowledge of the payments industry, including regulatory requirements, cybersecurity, and emerging fintech trends. The CIO/CTO will also oversee the development and maintenance of secure, scalable payment processing platforms, and lead the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or equivalent management qualification being a plus, and at least 10 years of experience in IT leadership, particularly in the payments or financial services industry. The role demands a proven track record in developing and implementing large-scale, secure payment processing platforms, as well as expertise in modern payment technologies such as cloud computing, API integration, blockchain, and mobile payments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps practices, and a strong background in managing cybersecurity initiatives are also essential. The CIO/CTO should be a strategic thinker with a focus on driving results, enhancing profitability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the technology department.
