GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will build upon a solid foundation within our customer base while striving to achieve new sales heights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALITIES
- Manage and nurture existing accounts.
- Utilize a consultative selling approach to identify and seize opportunities tailored to customer needs.
- Establish new accounts to expand our market presence.
- Prepare and plan thoroughly to conduct effective and impactful sales calls.
- Stay informed about price lists, product literature, and promotional programs.
- Timely maintenance and submission of reports.
- Identify customer challenges, develop effective solutions, and foster strong account relationships.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through conferences, trade shows, networking, and industry associations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience.
- Experience with a CPG food broker, food manufacturer, office coffee, or vending operations/distributors is highly desirable.
- Ability to meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets across multiple customer accounts.
- Demonstrable organization skills and capability to develop and implement effective sales plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint), CRM tools, and mobile technology; willing to embrace new tech as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
