The Sales Manager must have a background and have had success in the titanium or precious metals industry. This role is remote but based on the time zones we are looking for candidates that are on the east coast or Midwest. We are looking for hunters that have a strong knowledge within metals. The Sales Manager must have had at least 3 years of managing a technical sales team. We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager that will lead by example and will take on a quota for new business as well as lead the team. The Technical Sales Manager will not be afraid to pick up the phone and call into organizations. The products that you will be selling will be titanium bar, sheet, plate, pipe, tube, forgings, fasteners & fittings. The company that you will be working for is a distributor of aircraft quality exotic superalloy and high-performance alloys.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Increase sales by developing new accounts and promoting growth with existing accounts.
- Identify and call on prospective customers within specified territory.
- Generate, process & evaluate new leads and submit results to management on weekly basis.
- Work with the accounting and quality control departments as required.
- When requested, submit activity reports to management.
- Travel as needed within territory, including overnight stays when necessary.
- Travel to headquarters in Michigan and/or Pompano Beach facility as required.
Requirements - Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Must have led a sales team for at least 3 years
- Effective time management & organizational skills Computer literate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- 3 years of outside sales experience in the metals industry (titanium preferred)
- Must be able to generate leads as well as call on existing customers.
This role offers a competitive base salary plus a nice commission plan.
