  • BLS - Basic Life Support

  • Orthopedics Unit LGMH CB11 - 1202115
  • Neuro/Ortho surgical experience specifically required; Must have a minimum of one travel contract completed to be submitted; 2 years experience required
  • Ortho/Trauma skills required
  • Patient Diagnoses: Multi-trauma, seizure, GSW, Falls, TBI, stroke, sepsis, psych, epidural hematomas, epidural hemorrhage, cerebral edema, Ortho related trauma- not elective, encephalopathy
  • Special Procedures: Craniotomy, Spinal Fusions, ORIF, muscle flaps, skin grafts, AKA, BKA, IM nails, external fixators, spinal stimulators
  • Equipment: Traction, external fixators, trapeze, PCA pumps, JP drains, wound vacs, Chest tubes, ortho braces, hemo vacs, central lines, trach, PEG, NG tubes
    Job Requirements
  • Neuro/Ortho surgical experience required
  • Minimum of one travel contract completed

  • Ortho/Trauma skills required
  • Current/valid Drivers License/State ID or government photo ID required

  • Contract Length: 8 weeks

    Additional Details
  • BLS - AHA ONLY. RQI is accepted. If certification expires within 30 days of start, renewal must be completed prior to start date.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for the following specialties: Nursing, Cath Lab, CCU, CVICU, Dialysis, Endoscopy/ GI, ER, ICU, MICU, Neuro ICU, Outpatient Surgery, PACU, Pre-Op, SICU, Transplant
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required for some ED roles
  • State License Verification required within 30 days of start. All candidates must have an active LA License or Compact License upon submission effective immediately.
