As a Travel Nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit, you will provide specialized care for patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring trach care and stroke management. With at least two years of experience in a Step Down/PCU setting, you will float as necessary and work on a schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Compliance with state licensing and mandatory certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, is required.

Job Details
• Unit Description: Trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, stroke care 1:5 for SD/PCU; 1:6 if floated to acute care. MSD cares for PD patients, CSD cares for stroke patients, SSD cares for surgical patients. Float: within speciality/ Elmer
• Experience Requirements: Must have a MIN. of 2 years experience working on a Step Down/PCU unit.

Job Requirements
• Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• NIHSS Required.

Schedule Information
• Every other Sat/Sunday - 1 Holiday per contract.
• Workers must be available the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted. If workers cannot attend full Orientation the offer will be rescinded.

Unit Specific Information
• Float Requirements: Nurse must be willing to float to ED Hold and other units within specialty.
