  • Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry
  • Neuro MS/TELE RN - 12hr Days
  • Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, cerebral angiogram. General medical
  • Skillset: Comfortable taking medical overflow patients, strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have current active IL RN license
  • Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med Surg/TELE, 1 travel assignment
  • Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required
    Schedule Information
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start: ASAP
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48
  • Shift Requirement: 12hr Days
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit Information: 8 beds. Ratio: 1:4 | Charge nurse will have patient assignment
  • Scrub Colors: Navy Blue
    Additional Details
  • Float Requirement: Could float to the medical unit
  • On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/A
  • Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS
  • Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required - Subject to change
  • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
