Bronx, New York, Hematology/Oncology Physician Job
  • Clinical Role:

    • Permanent job opening
    • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible hematology/oncology physician
    • Work for a non-for-profit health care system
    • Work with five other physicians
    • Weekend call of 1:4 (telephonic call from home)
    • 50/50 hematology oncology split
    • No inpatient hematology except the weekend telephone call
    • Work 4.5 days a week clinically and 0.5 day set aside for admin
    • Ability to work part-time, if desired (as little as 2 days a week)
    • Mostly outpatient ( 90%)
    • See about 15 patients per day
    • Group employs a benign hematologist
    • Infusion center
    • 20 chairs
    • 12 exam rooms
    • H1 visa sponsorship available
    • EMR: AllScripts
  • Organization Information:
    • Hospital employed position
    • Work at one hospital
    • Treat underserved population
    • Expected total income - $375k-$425k (salary plus productivity)
