A Correctional Medicine Physician is needed for an ongoing locum tenens position in the greater Louisville, KY area, providing care to low-to-medium security inmates. The role requires an active KY license, DEA, and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Primary Care, with a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday. Compensation offers up to $16,000/month along with travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage.

Client Description:

One of our largest clients manages most of the correctional medicine programs for numerous facilities across the Mid West. As of now, there is an immediate need for a Physician to provide full-time coverage from Mon-Fri. Essentially, you ll be providing care inside of a clinic office that is located inside of a Correctional Facility surrounded by other PA s, NP s, and Medical Assistants. The patients are low-to-medium security inmates.
