Job Description:
- The Neurosurgeons will join a team comprised of three Neurosurgeons and four Medical Neurologists, with support from a strong group of Neuroradiologists. The region s busiest emergency department with about 100,000 visits per year.
- Ten-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit.
- Robust Hospitalist service provides medical consultative support.
- Post-acute care hospital by Mary Free Bed attached to Covenant HealthCare hospital facilities.
- As a Primary Stroke Center, Covenant was recently granted the highest award by the American Stroke Association for providing outstanding stroke care.
- State of the art stroke rehabilitation services are provided through a joint venture partnership between Covenant HealthCare and Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
- The inpatient rehabilitation program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). There are several physiatrists on staff to direct rehabilitation care and neuropsychology consultation service available.
