Eastern Iowa Family Medicine with OB Opening
  • Clinical Role:
    • Seeking a physician Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
    • OB Fellowship training - Required
    • Ability to perform C-sections - Required
    • Permanent position opportunity
    • 3 clinic room and a procedure room
    • One Gynecologist, two OB nurse practitioners, and one FP/OB are available on site
    • 12 Family Practice providers are also available on onsite
    • Two APPs provide coverage
    • Case types:
      • 50-60% Low Risk Pregnancy
      • 30-40% High Risk Pregnancy
      • 5-10% C-Section
    • Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1-2
    • Nursery Level: I
    • 7 LDRP beds
    • EMR: Cerner
    • Schedule:
      • Day shifts
      • Weekends/On Call 1:4 (predictable and non-burdensome)
