Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician at Healthcare United summary:

A motivated and BC/BE Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician is sought to join a collaborative team within a progressive academic health system. The position offers diverse responsibilities in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine with tailored roles based on individual preferences, alongside opportunities for teaching. This role provides advanced clinical practices in a fully integrated EPIC-EMR system, attractive compensation, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Healthcare United, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Physicians. The practice involves the full spectrum of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and/or Sleep Medicine with proportions of practice tailored to the physician s preference.

Overview:

  • Join an established group of 6 Pulmonologists, 4 Intensivists, 3 Sleep physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists, and 1 Nurse Specialist.
  • Customized clinical time and roles in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
  • Opportunities for resident and medical student supervision and teaching.
  • Utilization of advanced technologies such as ECMO, EBUS, and Ultrasound.
  • AASM certified Sleep Center.
  • Full integrated EPIC-EMR system since 2011.
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or MBBS
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified.
  • New York State Licensure.
  • BLS Certification Required.
  • DEA Required.
