- Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- 7 on / 7 off; 12 hour shifts
- 3-4 24 hour call shifts per 7 days
- Clinical Information:
- Covering consults, new admissions, discharges, emergencies
- Adult inpatient psych has 2 units totaling 37 beds divided between 2 physicians and 2-3 residents
- Census: Up to 37, typically 30+
- Average length of stay: 5-7 days
- Number of patients rounding on per day : 15-18
- Currently no provider capacity-based caps in place
- There is a consult service averaging around 3 new consults per day plus follow-ups
- Family practice managing H&P's
- Average Adult admissions 5-7, daily discharges 4-5, but peak can see 8-10 admissions, 6-8 discharges
- Patient Volume: 7
- EMR: Meditech
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
