The Neonatology Physician is responsible for managing NICU patients, supervising Advanced Practice Providers, and attending deliveries for infants 32 weeks or greater. This position requires PA licensure and ABP certification in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal medicine, with a 24-hour shift schedule. Neonatologist
Responsibilities include rounding with our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on NICU patients, and well-babies, as well as supervising the APP s attending deliveries of 32 weeks or greater. Our level II NICU is staffed with 24/7 in-house Advanced Practice Providers with a total of 4 Neonatologists who round and take calls from home. Strong tenured nursing team on the unit as well.
Schedule: A shift is 24 hrs, round at the hospital then call from home.
Requirements:
- PA licensure is required as well as must be ABP Certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal medicine.
