Responsibilities:

  • Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
  • Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
  • Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock.
  • Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and structures as required by company procedure.
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Maintain the parts department and workstation in a clean and organized manner.
  • Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Maintain a professional sales image.
  • A mechanical background, experience with truck/auto/engine service or parts knowledge is required.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of the selling process.
  • Applicant must possess a passion for customer service providing excellence to our Service Department, counter, and phone customers.
  • Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
  • Locating and obtaining Parts for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked.
  • Provide recommendations for sales of additional related or needed parts / accessories.
  • Timely and accurate processing of all orders.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks and drug test.
