Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Pull and fill orders from stock.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists and structures as required by company procedure.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
- Maintain the parts department and workstation in a clean and organized manner.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Requirements
Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a professional sales image.
- A mechanical background, experience with truck/auto/engine service or parts knowledge is required.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of the selling process.
- Applicant must possess a passion for customer service providing excellence to our Service Department, counter, and phone customers.
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
- Locating and obtaining Parts for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock or non-stocked.
- Provide recommendations for sales of additional related or needed parts / accessories.
- Timely and accurate processing of all orders.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the manager.
