Description
The Parts Counter & Warehouse Associate participates in our retail parts sales and warehouse operations. The goal is to provide exceptional customer service at all times. The primary responsibility is to accurately and timely provide internal and external customers with their parts needs and serve as warehouse back up and additional support. This is a non-exempt position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist retail and wholesale parts customers promptly and professionally
- Use computer software to issue, return, process parts orders and track orders for parts not in stock to fill orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain retail displays by ensuring fully stocked shelves, periodically rotating inventory and locations, and using customer facing signage and promotional materials
- Move, stock, sort and organize inventory and materials throughout the store / warehouseand place in proper location
- Report damaged or missing inventory to appropriate personnel and conduct periodic inventory audits
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories to maintain and manage a warehouse,including, but not limited to a hand jack and hi-lo
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
- Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Ability to demonstrate strong customer service skills
- General computer knowledge
- Self-motivated, willing to learn and grow with the company

Pay & Schedule: Hourly $20. and up based on experience

Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, some college a preferred
- At least 1-2 years experience working on the counter in automotive industry
- Able to communicate effectively with customers by telephone, email, and in person
- Proven working experience in a Warehouse
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods, including prior knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to learn to operate a forklift as needed
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
